The White Glove Experience

Following the loss of our son, Derrick, life as we knew it, would be no more.

We found ourselves catapulted into a reality we could not opt out of, the tragedy of his death. We were left to tend to a pain we’d never experienced and were ill-equipped to take on, alone.

The White Glove Experience was birthed out of the genuine regard of a family physician who was willing to meet our family where we were…literally. We were in need of assistance and simply didn't have the mental, emotional or physical capacity to visit the medical office…so our physician made a house call.

During a conversation with her, she expressed her desire to ensure our family was treated with “white gloves”, handled with care—and genuine regard.

Along this grief journey, we have met others like us—who are doing the best they can to navigate through loss. Our goal is to provide a platform where they can be treated with “white gloves”. To create a space where the truth and pain of loss are validated and supported.

We don’t profess to be experts on the topics of loss and grief—we simply strive to be available to recommend and connect people to resources, while healing together.
